Key Responsibilities: – You design network security solutions (IT/OT) in line with the security strategy, standards and policies, that balance business requirements with information and cybersecurity requirements
– You initiate and support projects to implement/upgrade the solutions
– You ensure testing of the solutions, benefits realization and gain sign-off
– You closely collaborate with peers (e.g. platform, network, datacentre, architecture and technology teams) and technology partners (e.g. Microsoft, CISCO, Zscaler)
– You continuously contribute to the development of relevant corporate security standards, guidelines, policies and support processes
Your Profile: – You have a significant track record in designing network security solutions for large global industrial organizations – ideally in IT/OT environments
– You have an excellent overall understanding of TCP/IP, relevant IT security protocols and technologies and their potential risks, vulnerabilities and threat scenarios in terrestrial, mobile and data centre networks in global environments
– You are experienced in defining architectural principles and guidelines for network security (LAN, WAN, mobile, data centre environment – including the definition of the relevant “network/transport security zones”)
– You have a university in computer science or equivalent
– You are acknowledged as collaborative team player with “can do” and “early-adapter” mentality
– You have strong communication skills within IT and towards the business at all levels
– You are fluent in English – German would be a plus
– You would be willing to travel occasionally to KNAUF sites on all continents
