Infrastructure Specialist (Virtualization) Data Center

The Infrastructure Specialist will be joining a high performance team that is driven, innovative and packed with self-motivated individuals. As part of the team you are responsible to support the day-to-day operations within the Data Center department, specialized on maintain and administrate the virtual environment.

Key responsibilities:
– Maintain & Administrate virtual environment
– Maintain & Administrate physical server infrastructure
– System Monitoring & Performance Tuning
– 3rd Level support
– Documentation and recording in ticket system

Working experience & expertise:
– Experienced professional in IT infrastructure subjects
– Infrastructure process expertise
– Highly experienced in VMWare tech. product line
– Experience in other infrastructure services related to virtualization

Technical skills: required
Knowledge of IT services related to:
– Microsoft Windows Server administration
– VMWare vSphere administration
– Strong expertise in vMotion, HA, DRS, VDS, Affinity rules, vCenter, storage migrations, P2V migrations
– VMWare ESX Server administration
– VMWare Software patching
– Firmware Updates of physical devices (server, tape library, etc.)
– PowerShell scripting
– Experienced with VDI deployment
– Good communication skills, both written and verbal and strong service orientation

Technical skills: optional
– Microsoft and VMWare Certifications
– Storage (SAN) Management
– Database Skills
– Backup and Security Skills
